Nazarin
Nazarn is the priest who decides to leave his order and go on a pilgrimage. He shelters a prostitute wanted by the police for murder while traveling on alms. He is cleared of suspicion, and she eventually catches up with him when she escapes from prison. Another woman joins the duo, and the ex-priest soon learns more about the human heart and suffering than when he wore robes.
