On the Waterfront
Terry Malloy dreams of being a prize fighter, even while glancing his pigeons and running errands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, the dockers union's boss. Terry witnesses a murder from 2 of Johnny's thugs, and after matches the sister of the deceased man and feels responsible. He introduces him to Father Barry, who attempts to induce him to give advice for the courts that will smash against the dock racketeers.
