Law worked as a chauffeur for rural tycoon Luk and was imprisoned for the death of a major landowner in a car accident. It was rumored that Luk was responsible for the death of the landowner, giving Luk an advantage in the native apartment development deal. The world has changed when Law is released from prison five years later. Luk's corporation has grown in strength, while Luk's right-hand man Keung has his own agenda. Things take an unexpected turn, however. Law drugs Sean and his brothers, then modifies their mobile phones for wiretapping with the help of Law's prison mate and computer whiz Joe. Joe meets the materialistic single mom Eva, who turns out to have a dark history with both Law and Keung. Law discovers Keung's ultimate plan, which could change Hong Kong's land development forever, thanks to the eavesdropping.
