Predatory Moon
Kyle Reading is a zoologist who has been researching wild animal attacks across the country in the hopes of discovering ways to prevent them. Kyle begins his own investigation after a small boy is purportedly murdered by a bear in Florida. He immediately shifts his focus to Dean Clout, the child's uncle who miraculously escaped the brutal attack. Dean, who is famed for being the village alcoholic, has little recollections of his encounter with the bear. He recalls just that he and the youngster were abandoned in the woods by a friend who departed to perform an errand and never returned.
