The local Junior High School in Kamakura has started a new school year. Ryoichi Kyogoku, a new student from another school, joins the 8th grade class at the start of the school year. He has been told to go to the school, use his talent for telepathy to take over their school, and then leave. This boy becomes popular because he is good-looking and has a lot of charm. He then uses his powers to take over the whole school, except for Seki. This starts a war to get their freedom back for themselves and their school.
