Resting Place
A 1972 television film set in Rockville, Georgia. Major Kendall Laird, a Survival Assistance Officer, arrives in this tiny little village with Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson's body, a Vietnam combat hero. Laird's role is to assist Johnson's parents in burying their son. However, because the deceased hero was black, his parents are refused entry into the town's "all-white" cemetery by white bigots.
