Ritchie is really just a chancer with no prospects and hopes. Disillusioned with city life, he goes undercover at a Highland conservation centre to make his fortune being an illegal pearl fisher together with Fraser, Danny along with the assistance of his two mates that are hapless and injury prone. Here he meets a pretty English conservationist, Beth enthusiastic about saving endangered mussels at the Highlands from the clutches of decoration thieves.
