Winona Applegate is on the fast track to coming to be a celebrity chef, already running a very successful restaurant in Pittsburgh. With nerves constructing, she leaves for New york city to audition for her very own show in front of television execs. However, her cars and truck breaks down near New Holland, a small, wacky town where Winona leases a space at a regional inn run by Adam, a widower. With the neighborhood Springtime Festival showing up and also the resident cook not available to manage the food selection, Winona consents to get her vehicle fixed in time for her tryout in exchange for her much required assistance in the Inn's kitchen. As she prepares for the festival with Adam, Winona begins to fall in love with New Holland and also one of its locals as well.
