Every day in France, terrorist groups and intelligence agencies fight a brutal war in the name of very different ideas. Still, the lives of terrorists and secret agents are very similar. Since they can't talk about their methods, they have to keep them secret. Two of them are Alex and Al Barad. The first is in charge of the French equivalent of the CIA or MI6's anti-terrorism unit, the D.G.S.E., and the second is in charge of a terrorist network. Both use people as their most brutal weapons in their fights.
