Solarbabies
In a long run in we find a group of kids, mostly teenagers, who live in an orphanage, run by the rulers of their Earth. The group in question plays with a baseball established game and is quite good. It has given them a unity which exceeds the attempts to bring them by the us federal government . Locating an orb of power that is special, they find it has unusual effects on these. They escape out of the orphanage (on skates) and attempt to cross the wasteland searching for a place they can live free as the storm-troopers seek out these and the orb.
