Spider Baby
The story follows a family of inbreeds who have been afflicted by a genetic disorder known as'syndrome', called after the household where the disease developed. This malady causes its victims to enter a condition of age regression that starts at age ten and continues throughout the remainder of their lifetime, making them with a child's wisdom. The last generation of this household was entrusted into the care of the family chauffeur (Lon Chaney Jr), and all is well for all these odd people until a greedy division of the family decides they need to relieve the group of its residence. Emotional disease has always, and will always be, a subject for horror movies because it probes into the unknown and Spider Baby makes best use of the fact.
