Spray of the Days
Because they both adored the author Jean-Sol Partre, Chick and Alise fell in love with one another. However, their relationship was ultimately destroyed by Partre. Soon after that, the main character, Colin, also falls in love with a young girl named Chloe. However, not long after the couple gets married, Chloe begins to experience peculiar symptoms, including the growth of a water lily in her lungs.
