A multi-layered collection that looks back to the formative years of Ryu as well as Ken as they live a conventional warrior's life in private Japan. The kids are, unwittingly, the last practitioners of the old fighting design referred to as "Ansatsuken" (Assassin's Hand). The series follows them as they find out about the strange past of their master, Goken, as well as the heartbreaking, dark legacy of the Ansatsuken style. Can their destiny be transformed, or will background repeat itself?
