Studio 54 has been the epicenter of both hedonism that is 70s - an area which redefined the nightclub, but also came to represent an era. Its co-owners, Ian Schrager and Steve Rubell, two friends from Brooklyn, seemed to come out of left field to preside within a sort of New York society. Currently, 39 years after the velvet rope has been slung throughout the club's hallowed threshold, a feature documentary tells the story behind the greatest club of alltime.
