Summer of '67
Summer of '67 is based on true events and depicts the turbulent times of the 1960s as well as the struggles of men and women affected by the Vietnam War. Milly (Rachel Schrey), a young wife and mother, is forced to live with her mother-in-law while her husband Gerald (Cameron Gilliam) is deployed aboard the USS Forrestal. Kate (Bethany Davenport) is torn between her high school sweetheart, Peter (Christopher Dalton), and her new hippie boyfriend, Van (Sam Brooks). Ruby Mae (Sharonne Lanier) finds true love with Reggie (Jerrold Edwards), only to have him taken away by the draft. Every woman wonders whether or not her man will return, and if he does, will life ever be the same?
