Swing Shift
Kay and her husband are content in 1941 America until after Pearl Harbor, when he enlists. Against her husband's wishes, she accepts a job at the local aircraft company, where she meets Hazel, the singer from across the street. The two quickly become strong friends, and together with the other females, they develop into increasingly skilled employees. As the battle drags on, Kay begins dating her trumpet-playing foreman, complicating her life.
