The beautiful young Alice, befriends ann, a elegant lady, with a obsession with butterflies. Using her innocence, Alice builds a troubling mum daughter relationship with Ann. Lured into her universe, Ann finds that she isn't the recipient of their girl's affections. Confronted by the other female buddies of Alice, a dark beyond awakens, unchaining a spiral of madness: a collection of brutal and bizarre crimes that Ann will have to devote to preserve her deceptive and benign appearances. The one that recognizes there's something is eight year-old her next door neighbour's daughter, Julie.
