The Count of Monte-Cristo
A TV Version of the classic Alexandre Dumas novel. Edmond Dantes is falsely accused by those jealous of the good luck, and is sentenced to pay the rest of his life from the island prison, Chateau d'If. While imprisoned, he matches with the Abbe Faria, a captive. The Abbe tells Edmond of some treasure hidden away to a tiny island, that just he knows the location of. After many years in prison, the Abbe dies, and Edmond escapes disguised while the body that is dead. Currently free, Edmond has to find the treasure therefore they can use the new-found wealth to exact revenge, he was told by the Abbe .
