The Drover's Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson
After her husband leaves to go droving sheep in the high country of Australia in1893, pregnant Molly Johnson and her children are left to fend for themselves in the harsh environment. She comes across Yakada, an Aboriginal fugitive who is chained and injured on her farm one day. As an improbable friendship develops between them, he shares shocking information about her true identity. Molly's husband has been gone for some time, and when new town sheriff Nate Clintoff learns of this, he becomes suspicious and sends his constable to investigate.
