A famous highway robber named Dick Turpin is on the run in the English countryside after he accidentally kidnaps the Earl of Pembroke's sassy daughter, Elizabeth. As her fiance Winthroppe tries to find them, Elizabeth starts to fall for the handsome highwayman. Turpin has no choice but to go up against Winthroppe in a fight for Elizabeth's heart and her fortune.
