The Last Bus
Widower Tom, on the recent death of his partner Mary, uses his complimentary bus pass to travel the size of Britain from John O'Groats in Scotland to Land's End in Cornwall, their shared birth place, using just local buses. It's an incident-fuelled nostalgia journey as well as his experiences with regional people make him a media sensation. Tom is completely uninformed and also to his shock on arrival at Land's End he's greeted as a celebrity.
