The Love of Jeanne Ney
Jeanne comes to the realization that the guy she loves is a Bolshevik while the combat between the Reds and the Whites in the Crimea continues (when he kills her father). She had no money, so she moved back to Paris and started working for her uncle. Not long after that, her lover Andreas is already in France, where he is helping to organize the sailors at Toulon. Khalibiev, a robber, a traitor, and a libertine who is interested in seducing Jeanne is also present. His plots, Jeanne and Andreas's naiveté, and a misplaced diamond all contribute to the lovers coming perilously close to a tragic ending.
