The Price of a Broken Heart
Detailed account of a high-profile courtroom dispute. Park Overall's character finds that her husband has promised marriage to his secretary (Laura Innes) despite the fact that he's been having an open affair with her. An obscure rule on alienation of affection was created to protect married couples from homewreckers, so the wife files for divorce and also sues the secretary. The liability of the other lady must be argued in court, removing from consideration the fault of the married couples.
