The Return of the Soldier
Chris Baldry, a returning World War I veteran, has lost his memory as a result of the horrors he witnessed. Because of his injuries, the soldier has no memory of his wife, Kitty, or the years they spent together. Margaret Grey, a childhood friend of Baldry's, helps him cope with the new circumstances of his own home. In addition, his amnesia makes him an attractive target for Jenny, his elder cousin.
