Young cowboy Brady is warned that his riding days are finished, then a horse smashed his skull at a rodeo, once a rising star of the rodeo circuit, and also a horse trainer. Back home on the Pine Ridge Reservation, with very little appetite or alternatives for another way Brady's awareness of inadequacy mounts because he could be unable to ride or rodeo -- the essentials of being a true cowboy. In an effort to regain control of their fate, Brady Requires what it means to become a man in the heartland of America and a search for identity that is fresh.
