The River Thief
Diz (Joel Courtney) is just a reckless teenage drifter living life away from home. Abandoned by his parents as a youngster, he stands out for himself and doesn't accept handouts. He takes anything he runs and wants. Chose to answer to no one and jaded, Diz lives a lifetime marked with thievery and jealousy. Matters alter for Diz when he floats to a town on the Snake River. There he's faced with an old man called Marty and drops Selah, for Marty's guarded grand-daughter. When Diz robs a mad, he becomes the master of the aim of just two killers and also a huge pile of cash. With offenders at his heels, and more money than he knows what to do with, Diz places the people he has learned to care about. But some things bought or can not be stolen. The River Thief can be a film about guilt, accepting life, and self sacrifice.
