The Road to Edmond
Cleo's position as a youth pastor in suburban Denver has been threatened by his real support for a teenage girl he cares about. A two-week leave of absence from the church's Elder Board is requested after the Elder Board becomes aware of the circumstance. Cleo is shocked when she receives this information by email, so she packs up her belongings and heads out to find out the truth for herself. When he picks up a ride from Larry and his deceased father in Edmond, Oklahoma, his journey takes an unexpected turn. A spate of strange indicators, including Larry's skepticism, pushes Cleo to question more than just his relationship with the teen; he challenges the fundamental definition and meanings of love itself.
