Beach Boy is a free-thinking law enforcement officer known as a maverick whose unconventional and ineffective methods are frowned upon by his more conventional colleagues. His incompetent spouse, Mrs. Chow, isn't much assistance and is more preoccupied with looking after all of his children than she is with helping him. During the course of a routine stakeout, Beach Boy and Mrs. Chow save the life of a beautiful girl from the Mainland named Ah Yuk. Ah Yuk's criminal uncle had previously mistreated her. Because Ah Yuk has nowhere else to go, she moves in with Beach Boy, who is at a loss as to how to interact with a stunning and helpful female presence in his dirty bachelor pad. Ah Yuk has nowhere else to go. But if he doesn't watch out, the charming new police lieutenant will wind up winning her affections instead! Will the Beach Boys ever get their act together?
