Seventy-five years after Brad Washburn, one of the greatest aerial mountain photographers of all time, shot Alaska's Denali Mountain from an open door of an airplane, climbing buddies Renan Ozturk, Freddie Wilkinson, and Zack Smith look at some of his mountain photographs and come up with this crazy idea. Rather of going up, their dream is to slide sideways — across the Moose's Tooth massif, the range's most ominous peaks. It's a fresh new approach to experience the same landscape Washburn initially discovered. As the gang faces harsh circumstances, deteriorating ropes, and continuous rockfall, their goal to be the first to complete the daring line becomes an obsession. When Renan suffers a near-fatal brain injury, all three partners must decide what is most essential to them.
