The Sleeping City
A young doctor on his way home from work is shot in the head, and the cops have no idea why. Inspector Al Gordon (John Alexander) decides that he needs to put some men on duty at the hospital, one of whom is Fred Rowan (Richard Conte), a detective disguised as an army medic. Rowan discovers a high-pressure world in which interns are desperate for time, sleep, energy, and, most importantly, money, and must walk a fine line between personal and professional disaster.
