The Star
The film is based on Emmanuil Kazakevich's novel of the same name. The Nazi Armies construct a large Tank Division known as "Viking" for the onslaught on captured Russian terrain in the summer of 1944. In the back of the Nazi Tank Division, the Russian Army's special group of seven shooters known as "Zvezda" is sent on a reconnaissance mission beyond enemy lines. Previously, two Russian groups had never returned. For the cause of Victory, the seven Russians are well aware that they will very certainly die.
