Former members of The Suburbans, a one-hit wonder band from the 1980s, get back together for a special performance at a wedding. A young record label talent scout happens to be in the crowd at the wedding and decides to give the now 40-ish singers a boost in their comeback efforts. A satirical look at the music industry of the 1990s is attempted, as is a comparison between the simpler scene of the 1980s....
