The Watsons Go to Birmingham
Flint, Michigan is home to the Watsons. When 15 yearold Byron's antics head outrageous, his parents now realize enough is enough and they pick the family needs a dose of Grandma Sands' no nonsense approach in Birmingham, Alabama. And so the Watsons Load-up their 1948 Plymouth Brown Bomber and head South. When they finally make it to Birmingham, they meet Grandma Sands along with her buddy, Mr. Robert and detect that life is completely different there than in Flint. Throughout that historical summer, the Watsons are caught up in something much bigger than the antics of Byron. Something which will change their own lifestyles and country .
