The Weapon, the Hour, the Motive
Don Giorgio, a gorgeous young priest and convent teacher, has two lovers: Orchidea and Giulia. When he repents and promises to return to the Church, he is brutally murdered. Giulia's throat is cut soon after. Inspector Boito falls in love with and plans to marry Orchidea, the primary suspect. The key to solving the case appears to be an inquisitive child named Ferruccio, who is imprisoned and drugged. He observed one of the murders, but will anyone believe him?
