The Work and the Glory
While relocating their family to upstate New York in the early 1800s, Benjamin Steed and Mary Ann Steed accidentally become the first residents of a hamlet that was divided along religious lines. Once it is revealed that their newly hired help is at the heart of the commotion, each member of the Steed family must confront their own views in the face of intense criticism and come to terms with them. They are fighting together to stay afloat amid the growing controversy around a young man by the name of Joseph Smith.
