It's been one year since Izzy graduated college, and she's still struggling to deal with the seemingly never-ending failures that come with being an adult. She also has a debilitating fear of top sheets, and she watches the X-Files in between. Izzy hasn't been able to find love for the past year, which includes five half-hearted relationships with self-centered men. Her mother and sister, who are also having relationship problems, help Izzy deal with them. It takes time for Izzy to be able to be honest and vulnerable after she sees herself in them.
