Time of Eve: The Movie
In the not-too-distant future, androids will be widely used. Rikuo Sakisaka, who has always taken robots for granted, discovers one day that Sammy, his house android, has begun acting independently and coming and departing on her own. He discovers an odd statement in her activity log: "Are you enjoying the Eve Time?" He tracks Sammy's travels with the assistance of his friend Masakazu Masaki and discovers an interesting coffeehouse called "The Time of Eve." Nagi, the barista, informs them that the cafe's primary rule is that humans and androids are equal. Within the cafe, androids conceal their status rings, and when guests leave, the door is automatically shut for two minutes to prevent anyone from following them and discovering their true nature.
