Elisabeth finally gets the courage to leave her alcoholic and violent husband, Rolf, and moves in with her brother, Goran. 1975 has just passed, and Goran has made his home in a commune known as Together. Elisabeth gains an appreciation for the myriad of ways in which the world might be understood thanks to her time spent living in this socialist commune.
