After yakuza boss Kurata strikes his own independent empire, a rival kingpin offers a position to Kurata's top operative, Tetsuya"Phoenix Tetsu" Hondo. After the fiercely loyal Tetsu declines, Otsuka taps unstoppable Tatsuzo that the"Viper", a callous gun-for-hire, to assassinate him. Because the Viper paths his target the Loaded Phoenix Tetsu grows concerned that certain of his partners has murdered him.
