Vanishing Point
James Kowalski, a former racing car driver and a former Army Ranger, is trying to go home to his family when his wife goes into a difficult labor while he is almost 1200 miles away. Kowalski's goal is to avoid being caught by the police while he makes his way home. Following a series of pursuits, he eventually makes his way onto a Native American reserve and spends some time ruminating about his life and the woman he married. He is ready to make his attempt to get past the police checkpoint.
