Chloe, a student filmmaker, is stranded in the suburbs and decides to make a documentary about her family's turbulent history. During the filming, she and her best friend Ed see a hysterical girl appear to escape from a neighbor's house, only to be dragged back inside. Is she, as the neighbors claim, a recovering drug addict? Is she truly in danger from those who claim to be concerned about her? Chloe and Ed start running surveillance, but as they dig deeper, they discover a world of strange beliefs, ancient religions, and dark witchcraft. Their quest for the truth will culminate in a live webcast that will frighten viewers and make them doubt the veracity of what they are witnessing. Webcast was inspired by a variety of horror and thriller films, including Rear Window, The Wicker Man, The Blair Witch Project, Rosemary's Baby, Paranormal Activity, and Race with the Devil.
