Professor Norman Reed begins to sense the clash between his world of rational science and hers of weird dance and freaky voodoo rituals after bringing his beautiful new wife Paula home to America from the isolated island where she was raised. Norman's snobby pals pick up on Paula's peculiarity, and their snooping and scheming soon force the unfortunate woman to use her magic to save herself and her husband — and possibly to kill!
