Kat Connors is 17 yrs old when Eve, her perfect homemaker mother, fades. Having lived for so long at an emotionally repressed loved ones, she doesn't blame her doormat of a dad, Brock and certainly hardly registers the lack of her mother. But as time moves, Kat begins to come to grips with she has been influenced by Eve's disappearance. Returning home on a break in college, she finds herself faced with the facts about her mother's death, and also her own denial concerning the events surrounding it...
