White Irish Drinkers
A maturing tale embeded in 1975 working-class Brooklyn, in which two teen siblings dealing with their abusive daddy and also their well-meaning yet ineffective mom are caught up in a life of petty criminal offense. Older bro Danny devises a daring scheme to steal enough money for the two to leave, timed around the chaos of an upcoming Rolling Stones performance. The delicate younger sibling, Brian, eventually has a choice: continue to be dedicated to the bro with whom he shares a powerful love-hate bond, or use his covert skill as a musician as his very own ticket out of their dead-end existence.
