John, a disillusioned Vietnam War journalist, looks to heroin smuggling. He cons Ray, an equally burnt out professional right into providing the drugs stateside to his spouse. Every little thing soon crumbles and Ray winds up on the keep up John's other half trying to evade jagged narcotics representatives.
