Will Penny
Will Penny has work on the ranch that takes him to ride the point of the land searching for trespassers or, even worse, squatters. He discovers that his cottage from the mountains has been appropriated by a woman whose guide to Oregon has abandoned her and her son. Embarrassed to kick against child and mother out just as these mountains' cold temperatures sets in, he also insists to share the cottage. However, it isn't just the snow which thaws. Woman and The lonely man forget their hostility and start developing a profound love for one another.
