You Can't Take My Daughter
Analyn Megison's genuine tale inspired this film. Amy Thompson (Lyndsy Fonseca) is a lively Charlotte law student who is attacked and raped by Demetri (Hunter Burke), a friend of a friend she met once. Amy takes the difficult decision to keep her baby after learning she is pregnant as a result of the rape, despite the fact that Demetri continues to stalk and harass her while she waits for the long-delayed trial. She decides to abandon him and start anew in Atlanta after giving birth to a beautiful little baby. Demetri discovers her six years later and sues her for custody of her daughter, much to her surprise. Amy fights back with her own legal and investigative talents.
