You Lucky Dog
Lisa Rayborn (Natasha Henstridge), a New York City fashion designer, returns to her hometown and family farm after her mother's death. Due to the state of the economy, her brother Jim (Harry Hamlin) has converted the family farm from a cattle farm to a sheep farm, despite their father's (Lawrence Dane) objections. Lisa decides to stay and assist on the farm to help out. She adopts a border collie from the local animal shelter and trains him as a sheepdog, naming him Lucky. Jim and Lisa decide to enter Lucky in a sheep herding competition, but when a severe thunderstorm causes a forest fire, Lucky assists in rescuing trapped children and bringing them to safety. While doing so, Lucky's leg is burned, and it appears that she will not be able to compete.
