Children in Need
BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK charity. It has increased to change the lives of disabled children and young people who are in the UK. One of many highlights is an Yearly telethon, held in November and televised on BBC One and BBC One H-D from 7:30pm until 2am. "Pudsey Bear" is BBC Children in Need's mascot, whilst Terry Wogan can be a host that is longstanding. BBC Children in Need is one of three highprofile British telethons, although the only charity owned by the BBC, one other telethons being Red Nose Day and Sport Relief, possibly behind the Comic Relief charity. The 2012 appeal happened on Friday 16 November.
