Crossbones
It's 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the earliest operation democracy in the Americas, where in fact the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, a.k.a. Blackbeard, reigns on a fictitious state of thieves, outlaws and miscreant sailors. Part shanty-town, a part marauder's heaven, this is a place like no other on ground - and also a threat to international trade. To acquire control with the gruesome society, a highly skilled assassin, Tom Lowe, is sent into the buccaneers' sanctuary to take down the charismatic and brilliant Blackbeard. However, the closer Lowe receives, the further he finds his pursuit is not too simple. Lowe can't help but respect the governmental ideals of Blackbeard, whose thirst for wisdom knows no boundaries - and no law. However, Lowe is not the only danger to Blackbeard's rule. He is a guy that has villainous rivals and yet another weakness - that a passionately driven woman whom he cannot deny.
